Bicyclist dies following weekend crash in Princess Anne

PRINCESS ANNE, Md. – Maryland State Police say a crash involving a bicyclist has claimed the life of one.

Just after 7:30 p.m. Sunday evening, troopers from the MSP Princess Anne Barrack responded to a report of a serious motor vehicle crash on Route 13 north of Somerset Ave. Investigation revealed that a white bicycle crossed into the path of a Ford RV and was subsequently struck.

The bicyclist, identified as 62-year-old Richard Schrock, was taken to PRMC in Salisbury where he was pronounced dead.

This crash remains under investigation.
