Snow Hill Elementary teacher honored as February Teacher Who Makes A Difference

SNOW HILL, Md. – Snow Hill Elementary teacher Mr. Jeff Postell is being recognized as our February Teacher Who Makes A Difference.

Postell is a Physical Education teacher for Pre-K 3 through third grade and has been at the school for about three years, going above and beyond to create lasting relationships with his students.

He makes his lessons fun, engaging, and creates an inclusive and welcoming environment. He says he wants to continue being a role model for others, regardless of the accolades he may receive.

“I accommodate lessons and plan so that all students are capable of success, but I do it because I genuinely care and I want to see students learn and grow and I want to make an impact on student achievement. Think outside of the box in terms of ways that you can make those connections and encourage students, let them know that they can, smile when you see them, accept them for who they are,” Postell said.

Postell also reminds other educators to take the time to care for themselves in order to better serve their students.

The Teacher Who Makes A Difference Award is brought to you in part by Pam Price and Associates. They helped us surprise the teacher with goodies, flowers, and a certificate.
