Milford Library to Amelia Earhart information seminar
MILFORD, Del. – There are still a few days left until March, but the Milford Museum, in partnership with the Milford library, is already prepared to soar into women’s history month.
The library will be hosting an Amilia Earhart information session, where people will have the opportunity to listen to research conducted by author, Ric Gillespie.
The session will explore the new advancements in Earhart’s mysterious disappearance.
Director of outreach at the Milford Museum, Tom Summers, said he’s looking forward to some light being shed on the historical figure’s Journey, that led to her untimely death.
“Amilia Earhart will be extremely popular because of the recent news that they possible found her plane,” Summers said. “The speaker will address that and talk a little bit about the research and the things that have been found in the search for whatever happened to Amelia Earhart.”
The event will take place on March 9th, kicking off at 1PM.
