Laurel Police Chief retires

LAUREL, Del. – Congratulations to Chief Danny Wright of the Laurel Police Department on his upcoming retirement.

Chief Wright has been in law enforcement since 1988 and started at the Ocean City Police Department. He made his way back to the First State, serving as Chief of Laurel PD since 2016. He also helped establish Laurel’s K–9 and School Resource Officer programs.
