Husband charged with first degree murder of wife

FELTON, Del. – Leon Reynolds of Felton, Delaware, has been arrested and charged with first degree murder of his wife.

Delaware State Police say they received reports of an unresponsive woman at the residence on Andrews Lake Road where police found Virginia Reynolds unconscious with several injuries to her body.

Troopers began life saving efforts until the victim was turned over to EMS. The victim was taken to an area hospital by ambulance where she died from her injuries.

DSP homicide Unit assumed the investigation due to the nature of the incident.

Reynolds was taken into custody and transported to Troop 3, where he was charged and later committed to Sussex Correctional Institution on a $1,000,000 cash bond.
