Epoch Dream Center Project is getting a new facility

WICOMICO COUNTY, Md. – The Maryland Department of Housing and Community Development is helping fund the Epoch Dream Center in Hebron with a $400,000 grant for a permanent facility.

Wicomico County Officials say the project has provided reliable daycare and after school programs for many kids, but county Councilman Josh Hastings says the center provides so much more than that as the previous facility had a 100% graduation rate, zero teen pregnancies and served over 1,200 meals provided.

“We have seen the designs so far, and they just look incredible,” Hastings said. “The folks who live on the west side of Wicomico county should really be excited for what is going to come their way.”

Councilman Hastings emphasized that this is a no cost program, which also allows tutoring benefits to kids at the facility.
