Police investigating shots fired in Ellendale
ELLENDALE, Del. – Delaware State Police are investigating a shots fired incident at an Ellendale residence Sunday night.
At around 10:15 p.m., troopers were called to a residence on Candy Lane for a report of shots fired. Troopers discovered that the home had been hit by gunfire several times, and numerous shell casings were located at the scene.
Police say there were two adults in the home at the time of the shooting, however, no one was injured. The motive behind the incident remains unclear at this time, and a suspect description is not available.
