New mosaic project latest beautification effort

CAMBRIDGE, Md. – The beautification efforts continue in downtown Cambridge with a new project.

It’s at the City of Cambridge public parking, directly across from the historic Tolley Theatre. This project is using Cambridge events as inspiration including music, Eagleman/Ironman, Taste of Cambridge and the Kite festival.

We’re told this has brought Cambridge residents out to either drop materials off, or help out in the process.

“People like to take their pictures in front of it, even though it’s not finished. I’ve had tourists come that have said oh can we get our picture here, and it’s just something to talk about and see and enjoy,” said mosaic artist Jennifer Wagner.

Those organizing this effort are still looking for materials to complete the project, you can drop those off right at the location at 530 Race Street.
