Landlord accuses Joseph Carlini of stealing home appliances

A Berlin man already facing two counts of felony theft is now looking at a brand new criminal charge.

The Worcester County State's Attorney filed a criminal information for theft document on Friday against Joseph Carlini, the man whose disputed business dealings were chronicled in a 47 ABC Special Report.

The document alleges that Carlini stole appliances from the home he was renting in Berlin. Carlini reportedly moved out of this house on February 1st.

A warrant has been filed in this case.

In terms of two other felony counts of theft against Carlini, a jury trial has been pushed back to May 1st after Carlini's defese team filed for a continuance.

Carlini has reportedly taken a position of "not guilty" regarding the two charges.

Criminal information documents show that the owner of Tony Luke's restaurant in Ocean City and Rayne's Sand and Gravel in Berlin accuse Carlini of stealing thousands of dollars of property from them.
