City of Salisbury prepared for potential flooding, high winds on Tuesday
SALISBURY, Md. – City of Salisbury officials are keeping a close eye on the storm predicted to bring heavy rain, high winds, and coastal flooding to the area on Tuesday.
Officials say they are prepared to deal with any issues that arise and will be in communication with the Maryland Department of Transportation regarding any potential closures of Route 13, including resulting detours. Residents should also be aware when in known flooding areas, including Northwood Drive and Fitzwater Street.
Residents are also reminded not to attempt to cross high water.
