Police investigating robbery in Dover neighborhood

DOVER, Del. – Dover Police are investigating a robbery that happened in the Simon Circle Neighborhood in Dover Sunday night.

Police say that just before 9:30 p.m., a 16-year-old male was walking to a family member’s home in the 800 block of West North Street from the Royal Farms store when he was approached by three juvenile male suspects. The suspects then reportedly punched and kicked the suspect, while one suspect held a knife to the victim, resulting in minor cuts to his face, chest, and arms. The suspects then stole an unknown amount of cash before fleeing the scene.

The victim was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment of his injuries.
