UPDATE: One killed, two injured in Millsboro crash

MILLSBORO, Del. – Delaware State Police are investigating a crash that claimed the life of one and injured two others in Millsboro.
According to police, the crash took place just after 4 p.m. Tuesday. Investigation revealed that a white Cadillac CTS was traveling eastbound on John J Williams Highway, west of Willian Street Road, at the same time a silver GMC Terrain was traveling westbound on John J Williams Highway in the same area. For unknown reasons, the Cadillac reportedly crossed the center line into the westbound lane and sideswiped the GMC’s left side. As a result, the Cadillac continued traveling eastward in the westbound lane and crashed head-on into a Dodge that was behind the GMC prior to the crash.
The driver of the Cadillac, a 20-year-old Lewes man, was taken to a nearby hospital where he died from his injuries. His name is being withheld pending notification of family and relatives.
The driver of the GMC, a 29-year-old Millsboro woman, suffered non-life-threatening injuries. The driver of the Dodge, a 24-year-old Millsboro man, also sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
