Locals excited for annual Goat Drop in Snow Hill

SNOW HILL, Md.- If you’re looking for something fun, and different, to do on New Years eve, Snow Hill has you covered.

The town is set to do its yearly goat drop on Sunday night, using an inflatable goat.

The event is sponsored by Snow Hill Toys, and store owner, Diana Nolte, said the event is perfect for those who have an early bedtime, because it’s from 5-6PM.

“We thought, if we’re going to drop something, why do a boring disco ball, or a snowflake? Let’s do a goat, like Crisfield does their muskrat,” Nolte said.

The event will take place at the old fire house, at 212 West Green Street, and will feature a hot dog dinner.
