UPDATE: TidalHealth suffers temporary interruption of communications

1 p.m. UPDATE: TidalHealth is coming off divert and is accepting emergency patients again.

DELMARVA – TidalHealth says a main breaker trip caused a temporary interruption of communications and telecommunications across its system Friday morning.

We’re told this issue is the result of a power problem and is not a cyber attack on the hospital’s systems.

As a precaution, TidalHealth’s hospitals are temporarily on divert for emergency arrivals.

As of 10:25 a.m., the break was reset; as of 11:15 a.m., communications are systematically returning to normal.
