PRMC to return to normal visitation policy May 1st

SALISBURY, Md. – Officials from Peninsula Regional Medical Center are returning to their normal visitation policy beginning this Wednesday, May 1st.

Visitation has been restricted since January due to widespread flu activity. Officials from PRMC say that even though all visitation restricts are being lifted, those with a cough, cold, or flu-like symptoms to stay home and not visit patients.

Regular visitation hours are 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. seven days per week. A few of the specialized care ares, such as the Intensive Care Unit, maintain their own visiting hours for patient comfort and safety. Labor and Delivery and Mother/Baby units also have customized visiting plans to accommodate moms and their support person.
