Local baker moves on to national competition

BERLIN, Md. – Flamingo Road Cookie Company has made it to the second round of the national Greatest Baker Competition.

Owner Kim Timmons told us that the win could help them open a commercial kitchen. The contest looks to spotlight bakers across the country, with the chance to win $10,000 and a feature in the Bake From Scratch magazine.
