Sen. Cardin helps Maryland residents seeking assistance navigating current visa situation

Maryland's Senator Ben Cardin has been very open about his thoughts on Trump's Travel Ban.

Senator Cardin says he will continue to work with the Department of State and Homeland Security, as they implement the most recent court order.

He says there is no way to know how many travelers were hurt by the president's actions, but he wants to help Maryland residents navigate their current visa situation.

Cardin's state director says they have two immigration case workers, who will contact the state department for the status on individuals.

Plus, they will also serve as a liason with refugee organizations.

Senator Cardin's State Director tells 47 ABC, "He wants to make sure that if anybody has any concerns, questions, problems, that our office is open to them and we have our case workers who are standing by. Whether it's someone who has a question or whether it's someone who might have a relative stuck somewhere or know of a family member stuck somewhere because of this."

In order to contact Senator Cardin's office with any questions or concerns, you can e-mail them at webmaster@cardin.senate.gov as they say they will assist anyone needing help.
