Police K9 helps track down man accused of armed robbery

DOVER, Del. – Dover Police say a K9 helped track down a 23-year-old who is accused of stealing from My Roma Pizza with a gun on Friday.

According to police, the incident happened around 3:24 PM on Friday.

Police say Radames Guzman, of Magnolia entered the business and demanded money while carrying a black handgun.

Guzman reportedly then fled on foot after the robbery. Shortly afterwards, police say they established a perimeter to locate the suspect.

K9 Gerome tracked the suspect and found the 23-year-old’s clothing in a wooded area as well as a black BB gun.

Gerome reportedly caught Guzman who was arrested shortly afterwards by police officers.

Guzman was charged with robbery first degree and wearing a disguise during commission of a felony.
