Cambridge woman charged in connection to June theft incident
EASTON, Md. – A Cambridge woman has been charged in connection to a theft that occurred earlier this year.
The incident took place at the Target store in Easton on June 20th. The suspect, 34-year-old Kevisha Brown, reportedly asked employees to retrieve scooters, but was told she had to pay for them first. Brown then allegedly told employees that if they didn’t turn over the shooters, she had two people who would hurt or shoot them. She then grabbed the scooters and left the store without paying.
It was also discovered through the investigation that Brown was involved in the theft of a firepit at Walmart before the Target incident, as well as a second shoplifting incident at Walmart on June 27th.
Dorchester County Sheriff’s Deputies served an arrest warrant on Brown earlier this month, charging her with robbery, theft less than $100, two counts of theft $100 to $1500, and theft scheme $100 to under $1500. She was then released to the custody of the Dorchester County Detention Center.
