City of Salisbury host family-friendly trick-or-treat event

SALISBURY, Md. – We’re only a few days away from Halloween, and community members are already getting in the spirit of things.

The City of Salisbury hosted a trick-or-treat event, on the downtown Plaza, where families could show up in their costumes and participate in some games.

Volunteer Judith Miller said with the beautiful weather, today was the perfect day to get the kids outside, to enjoy some good company in an even better atmosphere.

“We’ve seen some wonderful costumes out here tonight, and a lot of families,” Miller said. “It’s just a fun event for children- we love our community, and we want to be part of it.”
