UPDATE: Vehicle of missing Cambridge man located

CAMBRIDGE, Md. – Police have provided an update on a missing person’s investigation.

Just before 11:30 a.m. Saturday, Maryland State Police responded to the 5500 block of Mount Vernon Road in Mount Vernon for a report of an abandoned vehicle stuck in the marsh. Police found that the vehicle belonged to Yvon Camper, a man reported missing last week.

An extensive search of the area was conducted, but Camper was not located. His belongings, including his identification and brown suit, were found in the vehicle.

Anyone with information on Camper’s whereabouts is urged to contact the nearest law enforcement agency.
