Armed carjacking investigation underway in Dover
DOVER, Del. – Police are investigating an armed carjacking that took place Tuesday evening in Dover.
Shortly after 7 p.m., officers were called to Sam’s Club to investigate a reported armed carjacking. The 26-year-old male victim reported that he was approached by two men in the parking lot, one of which was armed with a handgun. The suspects allegedly demanded that the victim turn over property, including the victim’s car keys. The victim complied, and one suspect fled in the victim’s vehicle, a 2019 Dodge Charger Scat Pack with Delaware registration 223742, while the second suspect fled in a white four door sedan with window tint.
The first suspect was described as a skinny man, approximately 5’6″ to 5’7″, wearing a black ski mask, dark clothing, with a white scarf with a plaid design. He was also armed with a handgun.
The second suspect is described as a skinny man, approximately 6’1″ to 6’2″, with no clothing description provided.
