Dover Police arrest woman following stolen vehicle investigation
DOVER, Del. – A Dover woman is behind bars on numerous charges stemming from a stolen vehicle investigation.
According to police, the investigation began when officers observed a Honda Pilot traveling in the area of Sherwood Court and Janeka Lane that was reported stolen through the State of Maryland. During the stop, officers found 750 bags of heroin inside the vehicle.
The driver, identified as 29-year-old Toneika Mclean, was arrested and charged with receiving stolen property over $1500, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a controlled substance in a tier 3 quantity, and possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance in a tier 3 quantity. She is being held at the Baylor Women’s Correctional Institution on a $51,500 secured bail.
