Portion of Route 1 to close Sunday evening for manhole installation

REHOBOTH BEACH, Del. – DelDOT says that one lane of Route 1 will be closed Sunday evening through Monday.

We’re told the roadway will be reduced from three lanes to two lanes in both directions beginning at 7 p.m. Sunday through 1 p.m. Monday, weather permitting.

This closure is for the installation of a manhole.

Motorists are urged to use caution and slow down in work zones.
