Early morning fire damages Dover strip mall
DOVER, Del. – Crews battled an early morning blaze in Dover.
Just after 4 a.m., firefighters with the Dover Fire Department, Little Creek, and Camden-Wyoming Fire Companies, as well as St. Francis and Kent County EMS responded to a reported building fire in the 1000 block of South Little Creek Road. Crews quickly forced entry into the one-story strip mall and extinguished the fire.
No one was found inside the building, and we’re told the fire was contained to the store it began in.
Fire marshals are investigating the cause of the fire at this time.
