Pair arrested on numerous drug charges in Wicomico Co.
SALISBURY, Md. – Two people are behind bars following a drug bust last month.
The investigation involved 46-year-old Jameel Bivans, who was reportedly distributing controlled dangerous substances from his residence in the 100 block of Middle Neck Lane. As a result, officers obtained a search and seizure warrant for the residence, which was executed on September 20th. Police seized 15.35 grams of crack cocaine, 11.71 grams of purple suspected fentanyl, 40 capsules of suspected pink fentanyl (16.67 grams), 5 suboxone strops, digital scales, and related items. A total of 28.38 grams of suspected fentanyl was seized from the home.
Bivans and a second suspect, identified as 52-year-old Marah De Smith, were arrested at the residence and charged with several CDS offenses, including possession of a large amount of fentanyl, possession with intent to distribute fentanyl and crack, and other related charges.
Both are being held without bond.
