Police continuing to investigate August homicide of Dover man, reward now offered

DOVER, Del. – Crime Stoppers is now offering a reward for information related to a homicide that took place in late August.

At around 6:30 a.m. on August 30th, troopers were called to the Isaac Branch Greenway Trail in Dover for a report of a man on the ground near the wood line. On arrival, troopers found the man, identified as 63-year-old Mark Garrett, deceased with blunt force injuries. The Homicide Unit was subsequently called in to assume the investigation.

Detectives are actively worked to determine Garrett’s activities the day before his death. Anyone with information is asked to contact Delaware Crime Stoppers at 1-800-TIP-3333. A $5,000 cash reward is being offered for information leading to an arrest.
