Milford Little League gets new concession stand in time for opening day
MILFORD, Del. – The Milford Little League has a brand new concession stand thanks to the support of the community. Back in February, a pipe burst in the concession stand which ruined the entire building. But thanks to dozens of generous donors and service providers, members with the league were able to rebuild the entire concession stand just in time for opening day. Officials tell us nearly $20,000 were needed to build the stand that was a main source of revenue for the league.
“It was really a community effort and we were able to do it in a very short time frame and make it all come together and work when various contractors had time and we just coordinated it all and it really came together well, “said Bay Pro Contracting president Todd Culotta.
League officials add that the season for the little league will open next Friday, April 12th, with a parade going through downtown.
