State Fire Marshal investigating pole barn fire in Caroline Co.
HENDERSON, Md. – The Maryland State Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating a structure fire that resulted in a complete loss Sunday afternoon.
Officials say the fire was reported by a passerby shortly after 3:30 p.m. inside a pole barn at 16300 Jones Road. The Goldsboro Volunteer Fire Company responded to the blaze, which took 40 firefighters approximately 30 minutes to control.
The barn and its contents, including two vehicles, sustained extensive damage and have been deemed a complete loss.
