UPDATE: Gold Alert canceled for Smyrna man

UPDATE: Police say Wayne Burris has been located and is safe. The Gold Alert is canceled.

CLAYTON, Del. – Delaware State Police have issued a Gold Alert for 53-year-old Wayne Burris of Smyrna.

According to police, Burris was last seen on March 16th at approximately 5 p.m., in the 800 block of Longridge Road in Clayton. He is 5’10”, 170 pounds, and was last seen wearing a brown Carhartt jacket, blue jeans, and black and red sneakers.

Police say he may be on foot in the Smyrna area.
