Today’s Forecast: March 20, 2019

Happy spring, Delmarva! Spring arrived at 5:58 this evening. Temperatures will drop into the mid 40s tonight with rain developing before midnight. Some of the rain could be heavy at times overnight.

Periods of rain will continue through most of the day on Thursday as a low pressure system moves overhead. Temperatures will be in the mid 50s with winds increasing through the day. Total rainfall totals of around an inch likely. Expect a mix of clouds and sun on Friday with breezy conditions and a slight chance for a few showers as a cold front pushes through. Highs will be in the mid 50s and winds will gust to 40 mph.

Breezy winds will continue into Saturday with sunny skies and highs in the lower 50s. Sunday will remain sunny with milder temperatures in the upper 50s.

Temperatures will be in the low and mid 60s on Monday with increasing clouds. Periods of rain are possible late and may linger into Tuesday with cooler highs in the mid and upper 40s.

Wednesday will see a return to mostly sunny skies with highs remaining in the 40s.
