2023 Football Preview: Dover Senators

DOVER, Del — The Dover Senators are a squad that a lot of people expect to make some noise on the football field this fall. They have a lot of the same talent that took them to states last year returning to the field this time around. Right now, they’re knocking at the door to become state champs. Last year the Senators ended their season in the 3A state title game, losing to the Smyrna Eagles.

This season, Dover is itching to get all the way back and come away as champions and with players like Naseem Cosme, Jaquan Kilby, Mike Stevenson, John Parker and all on the roster, the Senators are primed to take another crack at Smyrna and the rest of the 3A.
