Three arrested following Dover drug investigation

DOVER, Del. – Three people have been charged in connection to a recent drug investigation in the Dover area.

The Dover Police Drugs, Vice, and Organized Crime Unit launched an investigation into the illegal sale of drugs at a residence in the 700 block of Halsey Road. Officers obtained a search warrant for the property, which was executed during the early morning hours on Tuesday. During the search, officers found a 16 gauge shotgun, a .380 handgun, ammunition, 1.2 grams of crack cocaine, 27.6 grams of heroin, drug paraphernalia, and stolen mail/credit cards.

53-year-old Brian Ridgeway, 33-year-old Anthony Bray, and 24-year-old Jasmine Pearson were all arrested at the home during the search.

In addition, during the week of July 11th, detectives began investigating an unlawful use of a credit card case, where a female suspect had used a credit card illegally to purchase merchandise at two locations in Dover. It was determined that Pearson was the suspect responsible for using the credit card.

Ridgeway was charged with possession of a firearm/ammunition by a person prohibited and maintaining a drug property. He was held at SCI on a $3,000 cash bail.

Bray was charged with possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, three counts of possession of a firearm/ammunition by a person prohibited, two counts of possession with intent to distribute a controlled substance, possession of heroin in a tier 3 quantity, and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was held at SCI on a $130,200 secured bail.

Pearson was charged with possession of a firearm by a person prohibited, two counts of possession with intent to distribute a controlled substance, possession of heroin in a tier 3 quantity, possession of drug paraphernalia, and four counts of unlawful use of a credit card. She was released on her own recognizance.
