UPDATE: Police searching for fugitive in Greensboro

7/31 UPDATE: Police are continuing to search for the fugitive in this incident.

We’re told the fugitive remains at large in the Denton and Greensboro areas. Officials say an increased police presence may still be seen throughout the day, but it is just a precautionary measure, as there is currently believed to be a minimal threat to the public.

Anyone who may see the subject is asked to keep their distance and report it immediately.

GREENSBORO, Md. – The Caroline County Sheriff’s Office, along with mutual aid law enforcement agencies, are in the area of 12443 Gardner Lane in Greensboro conducting a search for a fugitive involved with a possible stolen vehicle.

The subject is described as a white male with reddish colored facial hair, approximately 5 feet, 8 inches tall, last seen wearing unknown color shorts.

Police say to not approach the subject and contact the authorities immediately.
