Car fire under investigation in Cambridge

CAMBRIDGE, Md. – A car fire is under investigation in Dorchester County.

Firefighters responded to 1504 Bayly Road Tuesday afternoon for a reported fire of a 4-door sedan, possibly a BMW, which crews were able to contain quickly.

Maryland State Fire Marshals responded to investigate, determining that the fire began inside the vehicle. The cause remains under investigation. Total damage has been estimated at $25,000.
