Today’s Forecast: February 26, 2019

Partly cloudy to mostly clear skies are expected tonight with temperatures dropping into the upper 20s and lower 30s.

Wednesday will be mainly cloudy and cooler with temperatures only in the low and mid 40s. An isolated shower is possible during the afternoon, especially south.

Temperatures will rebound into the lower 50s on Thursday with the return to partly sunny skies. A weak system will approach and bring scattered rain showers and perhaps snow showers Thursday night into Friday morning but no accumulation is expected at this time. The rest of Friday will be mostly cloudy with highs in the upper 40s.

Scattered showers return to Delmarva for Saturday with milder temperatures in the mid 50s. Sunday will feature a battle between the sun and clouds with cooler highs in the low and mid 40s.

Monday’s forecast may be a tricky one depending on the path, speed, and strength of an area of low pressure. Right now it appears a low pressure system will track just south of the area and off the coast, allowing for just enough cold air to bring a wintry mix. Highs will be in the 30s. Be sure to stay tuned. Tuesday will be partly sunny and cold with highs remaining in the 30s.

Have a great night!
