Police investigating two Dover business burglaries

Kirkland’s burglary suspect as seen in surveillance footage

DOVER, Del. – The Dover Police Department is investigating a pair of burglaries that happened in the same shopping center late last week.

Sometime between 9:50 PM on February 21st and 8:05 AM February 22nd, an unknown suspect reportedly used a rock to break a window next to the front door of Mod Pizza and stole an unknown amount of money from the cash registers before fleeing.

Then, just after 3 AM, an unknown male suspect used a rock to break a lower glass window next to the front door of Kirkland’s. The suspect rummaged through registers and back offices before fleeing, however, it does not appear that the suspect stole anything from the store.
