Ellendale man arrested in Milford burglary case

Michael Foskey, 23, of Ellendale, Del.

Milford Police say they arrested an Ellendale man Wednesday for a burglary in Milford that happened earlier this month.

Michael Foskey, 23, reportedly burglarized a home on Crestview Drive on January 5th, taking car keys, electronics, tools, jewelry and a gun.

Later, after the home's residents had already filed a police report, Foskey allegedly returned to the home and used the keys he stole to steal a vehicle parked at the house.

It wasn't until Wednesday that Milford Police had a location on the suspect; detectives reportedly received a tip that Foskey was in the Woodside area.

Detectives say they found him at a Woodside gas station.

Foskey was arrested and charged with second degree burglary, firearm theft, motor vehicle theft, theft of $1,500 or greater, and two additional counts of theft over $1,500 where the victim is 62 years of age or older.

Foskey's bail was committed to the Sussex Correctional Institution on a bail of $6,000 secured. Officials say he was also wanted by Delaware State Police and the Sussex County Court of Common Pleas.

His preliminary hearing is scheduled for January 26th.
