Dewey Beach amending chapter 117-2 or marijuana use

Cannibus

The Town of Dewey Beach will be voting to amend chapter 117-2, a measure that deals with how marijuana should be regulated. The ordinance would prohibit marijuana-related businesses from opening their doors in Dewey Beach.

This comes in response to the Delaware marijuana control act, state legislation being amended to prohibit the manufacture, sale or use of the drug legally in town limits.

Town Officials say the meeting will start at 3:00 pm tomorrow. The meeting will be open to the public. You can also watch virtually either on the town’s website or on youtube.
