SEAFORD, Del. – Seaford Police arrested two people on Tuesday after they reportedly walked out without paying for their meal.

Officers were called to respond to the Grotto’s Pizza on Sussex Highway for a report of patrons leaving the restaurant without paying their bill. It was also reported that the male patron slapped a waitress on her buttocks before leaving the restaurant.

Responding officers quickly located the female suspect, identified as 27-year-old Summer Bueso-Shinn, of Silver Spring, MD, and took her into custody.

The male suspect, identified as 28-year-old Schuyler Sutton, also of Silver Spring, MD, fled to a nearby hotel. Police eventually tracked Sutton to a specific room at the Days Inn on Sussex Highway after receiving multiple reports that an individual matching Sutton’s description was walking through the hallways at the hotel with a hunting style bow and arrow.

Police made contact with Sutton at the room, however, he initially refused to come out. It was at this point that officials learned that there was an active warrant out for Sutton’s arrest out of Montgomery County, MD, for first degree burglary.

After several hours of negotiations, Sutton surrendered and was taken into custody.

Bueso-Shinn was released on an unsecured bail pending a future court appearance on theft and second degree conspiracy charges.

Sutton was charged with theft, second degree conspiracy, unlawful sexual contact third degree, disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, and out of state fugitive. He was issued an unsecured bail on the new charges, but was committed to the Department of Corrections without bail pending extradition for the Maryland warrant.
