Today’s Forecast: February 18, 2019

*A Winter Storm Watch is in effect for northern Delmarva Wednesday morning through Wednesday evening.*

Tonight will be partly cloudy and cold with temperatures dropping into the upper 20s. Expect mostly sunny skies on Tuesday with temperatures in the upper 30s and lower 40s.

Abundant moisture will lift north towards Delmarva on Wednesday, clashing with cold air in place. This will bring snow during the early morning hours, continuing into the early afternoon before changing to sleet and then rain as temperatures rise above freezing. A general 1-3 inches of snow is possible before the switchover. Stay tuned! All of Delmarva will see rain Wednesday night with showers continuing into the first part of Thursday.  Highs on Thursday will be rising into the mid and upper 50s.

Friday will be mainly cloudy with temperatures in the lower 50s. Expect showers to move back in during the second part of the day on Saturday. Highs will be in the low 50s. Scattered showers are possible on Sunday, but temperatures will be milder with highs near 60 degrees. Monday will be sunny and nice with highs in the low and mid 50s.

Have a great night!
