A wintry mix is likely from Salisbury and towards the north tonight, with a gradual transition into rain for most overnight. The only exception of changeover by sunrise will likely be Dover. Lows tonight will be in the low 30s. Ice amounts will range from a glazing near Salisbury to up to a tenth of an inch in Dover, while snowfall amounts will likely be a dusting in Salisbury to 1″-2″ around Dover.
Monday will be a cloudy and rain day for almost everyone, while Dover will likely experience a rain/snow mix. Temperatures will remain below average in the mid to upper 30s. Monday night will consist of rain for everyone, except Dover which will be a rain/snow mix, as readings drop into the low to mid 30s. All of Delmarva will experience rain on Tuesday, as temperatures warm into the upper 40s to lower 50s.
The rain fades away by Wednesday morning, leaving behind clearing skies and breezy conditions, while readings hold steady in the upper 40s to lower 50s. The best weather of the next 7 days will be on Valentine’s Day, as highs get into the low 50s under mostly sunny skies. Friday will be mostly cloudy with showers developing late, and temperatures in the mid to upper 50s. The showers depart on Saturday, with partly sunny skies late, but the thermometer drops slightly into the mid 50s. Mostly sunny skies take over on Sunday, as highs drop down into the low to mid 40s.
