Talbot Co. house fire under investigation

EASTON, Md. – Maryland State Fire Marshals are investigating a fire that damaged a Talbot County home Tuesday morning.

Firefighters responded to a home in the 300 block of Brookletts Avenue shortly before 10 a.m. Crews battled the blaze for approximately 40 minutes before it was brought under control.

Investigators have determined that the fire began in a first floor bedroom, but the cause remains under investigation. Total damages have been estimated at $25,000.
