BREAKING: Austin Davidson found guilty in murder of Cpl. Glenn Hilliard

SALISBURY, Md. – A Wicomico County jury has found Austin Davidson guilty on all 11 counts in the murder of Corporal Glenn Hilliard.

The jury went into deliberations late Monday morning, with the verdict returned Monday afternoon.

The trial began on Monday, May 1st.

Corporal Hilliard’s widow, Tashia Hilliard, says it was very difficult to sit in the same room as the man who took her husband away forever.

“Justice was served today. Don’t forget that Glenn lived, and died, serving this community. He still has a family. We deal with this every day. If you see me in the streets, say hi like you’ve been saying. Don’t be afraid to speak to me. Don’t be afraid to say you support me, because that is my strength, and that’s what keeps me going,” said Tashica.

She also added that she hopes Davidson “finds Jesus before it’s too late”.

Tashica says she feels drained after this trial, but that she never felt alone.

Prosecutor Jamie Dykes says they will be seeking a life sentence without parole.
