DSP investigating shots fired incident in Capitol Park
DOVER, Del. – Delaware State Police are investigating a report of shots fired that happened Saturday evening.
Police say the incident happened at around 8:30 PM, in the area of President Drive, Capitol Park, in Dover. Investigation revealed that a light colored SUV was speeding down the road at the same time as the gun fire. Police say they also found what appeared to be a bullet hole in the front siding of the victim’s home, however, it did not go through the siding into the home.
We’re told an adult male and female were inside the home at the time of the incident. The female suffered minor injuries as a result of moving to the floor while the shots were fired, and was later transported to a local hospital for treatment.
Officials have no suspect information at this time.
