Princess Anne Elementary teacher honored as April Teacher Who Makes A Difference

PRINCESS ANNE, Md. – Congratulations are in order for our April Teacher Who Makes A Difference, Ms. Jill Klaverweiden.

Ms. Klaverweiden is a pre-k through third grade teacher at Princes Anne Elementary School and is currently up for Somerset County Teacher of the Year. We’re told she goes above and beyond for her little ones as if they were her own. She tells us she’s always wanted to be a teacher since she was a child and now that she’s living her dream, getting this honor means the world to her.

“I had some very influential teachers growing up that showed me how important a teacher can be and what a difference they can make. Find your tribe — find your people – it definitely takes a village — keep pushing no matter what — and you can make it, you can do it,” said Klaverweiden.

The Teacher Who Makes A Difference award is brought to you in part by Pam Price and Associates. Pam and her team helped up surprise the teacher with lots of fun goodies, flowers, and a certificate.
