Salisbury house fire ruled accidental
SALISBURY, Md. – Officials say a fire that heavily damaged a Salisbury home Tuesday afternoon was accidental.
The fire was reported just after 2 p.m., at a home in the 1000 block of Sherwood Circle. Firefighters with the Salisbury Fire Department responded to the scene and were able to control the blaze in 20 minutes.
Fire marshals say the fire was caused by the failure of a rechargeable battery pack. Total damage has been estimated at $225,000.
