Kent Island Bucs become Bayside Conference Champions

SALISBURY, Md — The Lady Kent Island Buccaneers remain undefeated after defeating Decatur 40-30 in the Bayside Conference Championship. The Bucs held Decatur to one point in the 4th quarter to secure the victory. In the first half, it looked like the Seahawks could have been the team to take down the Bucs, Decatur went up 20-14 at halftime. But the Bucs would right the ship in the second half and never look back.

After struggling to knock down outside shots early on, the Bucs went supernova in the third and fourth quarters and Decatur’s offense just couldn’t keep up with the Bucs’ hot shooting or monster fourth-quarter defense.
