Anton Black autopsy results released

GREENSBORO, Md. – Just a day after the release of 911 body cam footage, Anton Black’s family has received his autopsy results and they are speaking out about the results in hopes that it will help lead to the truth about how and why Anton died.

The autopsy concluded that Black’s death was accidental and was a result of a sudden cardiac death. According to the report, Black had an underlying biological issue with his heart, where there was a lack of oxygenated blood flow going to his heart. Officials say that more than likely the stress of his struggle contributed to his death.

The toxicology screen conducted as part of the autopsy revealed that Black did not have any drugs or substances of any kind in his system at the time of his death.

Autopsy results also showed that Black suffered more than 43 blunt trauma wounds during the incident.

The family says they are seeking justice for his death. They are requesting that the Caroline County State’s Attorney to assemble a grand jury as part of the ongoing investigation into Black’s death. We’re told the family is also conducting an independent review of the forensic and medical evidence along with civil rights claims that have arisen from his death.
