Dover boys basketball sweeps season series over rival Caesar Rodney
DOVER, Del.- Never trailing in the game, the Dover boys basketball team improved to 14-0 with a 70-60 win over cross-town rival Caesar Rodney on Tuesday night.
For Dover, Eden Davis jumped out of the gates on fire. The junior guard dropped the first 17 Senator points, all in the first quarter. He finished with a game-high 27 on the night. His backcourt mate, another junior guard, Elijah Allen finished with 19.
CR would cut a double-digit lead to three, twice, and to five, but couldn’t overcome the pair of junior guard. The Riders, who fall to 10-3, were powered by Shaft Clark with 23 points.
The win for Dover tonight all but clinches them the Henlopen North title, with three conference games remaining.
